How We Support Respiratory Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to provide additional capacity and specialist expertise across key areas of respiratory care, including:

  • Outpatient Respiratory Clinics: Supporting Trusts with outpatient assessments and follow-up appointments for conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and other chronic respiratory issues. Our Respiratory Consultants and Specialist Nurses help reduce waiting lists and ensure timely care for patients.
  • Diagnostic Respiratory Services: Enhancing diagnostic capacity with services such as spirometry, lung function tests, sleep studies, and bronchoscopy. Our Specialist Respiratory Teams ensure accurate and timely diagnosis, helping Trusts manage diagnostic backlogs and address urgent cases efficiently.
  • Treatment and Management: Providing expert support in the treatment and management of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including nebulisation, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive ventilation. Our Respiratory Specialists work alongside Trust teams to deliver high-quality care while maintaining continuity of treatment pathways.
  • Post-Discharge and Follow-Up Care: Assisting Trusts with follow-up clinics and monitoring of patients post-discharge, particularly for those with complex respiratory needs. Our Consultants and Specialist Nurses provide ongoing care, ensuring smooth recovery and preventing readmissions.

Our multidisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Consultants, Nurses, and Technicians, work closely with NHS Trusts to deliver efficient and high-quality respiratory services.

Step 1

We will work with you to identify available capacity within the department on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Next, we will collaborate with you to produce a Trust-specific operation policy that details all local policies, procedures and patient pathways.

A team of Consultants, Nurses and Support Staff will then be handpicked by us and approved by you to work in your Trust.
