Your Medical Services offers bespoke Radiology Services to support NHS Trusts in managing increased demand for diagnostic imaging. Our insourcing solutions cover Outpatient, Diagnostic, and Interventional pathways, providing comprehensive pathway support or targeted assistance where bottlenecks exist. We work seamlessly within each Trust’s infrastructure, helping to reduce waiting times and deliver timely, high-quality diagnostic services.

How We Support Radiology Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to deliver additional capacity and specialist expertise across critical areas of radiology, including:

  • Outpatient Radiology Clinics: Supporting Trusts with outpatient imaging services, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. Our Radiologists and Technicians help Trusts meet rising demand for diagnostic imaging, ensuring that patients receive timely assessments and reports.
  • Diagnostic Radiology: Enhancing Trust capacity for a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, such as mammography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine scans. Our Specialist Radiology Teams ensure accurate and timely diagnoses, helping to manage diagnostic backlogs and improve patient outcomes.
  • Interventional Radiology: Providing skilled Interventional Radiologists for minimally invasive procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, and tumour ablations. We help Trusts manage demand for both elective and urgent interventional procedures, reducing strain on in-house teams.
  • Post-Imaging Reporting: Offering radiology reporting services to ensure timely interpretation of images and efficient communication of results to referring clinicians. Our Consultants work with Trusts to streamline reporting processes, ensuring no delay in patient pathways.

Our teams, including Radiologists, Radiographers, Technicians, and Support Staff, work closely with NHS Trusts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of radiology services, helping to maintain high standards of care.

Step 1

We will work with you to identify available capacity within the department on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Next, we will collaborate with you to produce a Trust-specific operation policy that details all local policies, procedures and patient pathways.

Step 3

A team of Consultants, Nurses and Support Staff will then be handpicked by us and approved by you to work in your Trust.

Our team will carry out the service to reduce waiting times and patient backlogs.

Following the first week, we will review the service with you and, if necessary, make any required adjustments.

Weekly telephone calls and monthly conference service review calls will be established, so we can ensure the quality of service remains high and allow two-way feedback going forward.
