We collaborate with NHS Trusts to deliver additional capacity and expertise across key areas of gynaecological care, including:

• Outpatient Clinics: Offering flexible support for new appointments and follow-ups, including assessments for general gynaecological conditions, fertility consultations, and post-menopausal issues. Our experienced Consultants and Specialist Nurses help reduce outpatient waiting lists while ensuring high-quality care.
• Clinical Validation & Triaging Service: YMS provides a Clinical Validation & Triaging service to review your patient treatment list (PTL) and assess the appropriateness of referrals, including prioritising referrals, organising the PTL by wait time, and assessing appointment needs. This remote service by a Gynaecology Consultant helps Trusts gain a clearer picture of patient demand to plan capacity accurately.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Supporting Trusts with procedures such as ultrasound scanning, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and biopsy. YMS can provide experienced Consultants or Nurse Trained Hysteroscopists to manage diagnostic and therapeutic clinics, reducing waiting times for critical services and ensuring timely care for patients.
• Surgical Gynaecology: Offering skilled Gynaecologists for procedures including laparoscopic surgery, hysterectomy, myomectomy, and complex polypectomy. YMS provides mixed case list theatres to handle more complex procedures, ensuring that surgical targets are met while alleviating pressure on permanent surgical teams.
• Post-Operative and Follow-Up Care: Supporting Trusts with post-operative monitoring and follow-up clinics to ensure smooth patient recovery. Our Specialist Nurses and Consultants provide continuity of care, reducing the strain on Trust resources.

Our multidisciplinary team, including Consultants, Gynaecologists, Nurses, and Support Staff, works collaboratively with NHS Trusts to ensure all aspects of gynaecological care are supported efficiently and effectively.
