Your Medical Services offers tailored Dental Services to help NHS Trusts manage increasing demand for dental care, including both routine and complex dental treatments. Our insourcing solutions cover Outpatient, Diagnostic, and Surgical pathways, providing comprehensive pathway support or targeted assistance for pressure points. We integrate seamlessly with each Trust’s existing infrastructure, reducing waiting times and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality dental care.

How We Support Dental Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to provide additional capacity and specialist expertise across key areas of dental care, including:

  • Outpatient Dental Clinics: Supporting Trusts with outpatient dental assessments and consultations for a wide range of conditions, including oral health assessments, orthodontic reviews, and treatment planning for restorative and cosmetic procedures. Our Dental Surgeons and Specialist Dental Nurses work closely with Trusts to manage outpatient demand and reduce waiting lists.
  • Diagnostic Dental Services: Assisting Trusts with diagnostic tools and services such as dental X-rays, panoramic imaging, and intraoral scans to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses. Our Dental Specialists work to manage diagnostic backlogs, helping patients progress swiftly through the care pathway.
  • Surgical Dental Expertise: Providing highly skilled Oral Surgeons and Maxillofacial Surgeons for a variety of procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, jaw realignment surgeries, and treatment for oral cancers. We help NHS Trusts meet surgical demand and reduce waiting times for both routine and complex dental surgeries.
  • Post-Treatment and Follow-Up Care: Supporting Trusts with follow-up appointments and post-surgical monitoring to ensure patient recovery and effective long-term care. Our Consultants, Dental Nurses, and Support Staff work to provide ongoing care and ensure continuity of service, easing pressure on in-house teams.

Our multidisciplinary teams, including Consultants, Dental Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, and Support Staff, work in partnership with NHS Trusts to provide efficient, high-quality dental services.

Step 1

We will work with you to identify available capacity within the department on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Next, we will collaborate with you to produce a Trust-specific operation policy that details all local policies, procedures and patient pathways.

A team of Consultants, Nurses and Support Staff will then be handpicked by us and approved by you to work in your Trust.

Our team will carry out the service to reduce waiting times and patient backlogs.

Following the first week, we will review the service with you and, if necessary, make any required adjustments.

Weekly telephone calls and monthly conference service review calls will be established, so we can ensure the quality of service remains high and allow two-way feedback going forward.
